Your Evacuation Zone

There is an old Florida saying that “the more you prepare the less likely it is that a hurricane will hit you.”   Irma is a big storm and while still wandering the Atlantic, it appears possible/probable/likely that we will feel some of her wind/rain.

So it is smart to know what you would do in an emergency, whether it is Irma or some other storm.

A lot of our community is in Flood Zone A the rest is in B.

Here is the Pinellas County evacuation map and flood map.

The two closest evacuation shelters to us are Boca Ciega High School and Gulfport Elementary School.
