Rain, rise, recede, repeat

This description from Sara Wides Nicholson who lives on Mockingbird near Robin:

We just got home about 35 minutes ago. We are on Mockingbird so only observed the bird named streets at the front. There are low points closer to the corners where it’s a bit floody and high points more midway down each street where there were dry parts of the road. We were in a Ford Expedition and thought it was a little iffy going through the water at the lower points. Most houses have water at the bottom of their driveway to about halfway up. I’m second house in on Mockingbird from Robin Rd and it’s halfway up. I know we still have high tide to go through, but it seems there’s a good chance our houses stay dry.

There are surprisingly few power outages right now.
This is 10am
