$1m scratch-off lottery ticket sold at our South Pasadena Publix

Albert Pike of St. Pete bought a one-million dollar winning off card from the Publix in South Pasadena. The pricey $30 card is part of the “THE FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000” Scratch-Off game run by the Florida Lottery.

Scratch-off games represent 75% of lottery ticket sales. The supermarket will get a $2,000 reward for selling the winning ticket.

You can go here to see how many top prizes have yet to be won for each ticket sold. For example, almost half of the top prizes in that $30 game are gone. And the odds of winning the big prize was already pretty slim:
